Workplace Giving Coordinator

DESC seeks a Workplace Giving Coordinator for our Fund Development team based in Seattle, King County, working full-time to build workplace giving campaigns and corporate partnerships that support our mission to combat homelessness and poverty.

What This Role Involves

As our Workplace Giving Coordinator, you'll develop and implement comprehensive workplace giving programs that connect employees with opportunities to support DESC's work. You'll partner with corporate contacts, create compelling campaign materials, and manage the systems that turn individual generosity into meaningful community impact.

Core Duties

  • Design and launch workplace giving campaigns and employee donation initiatives with corporate partners
  • Develop marketing materials, email communications, and donor education content that explain DESC's mission and giving opportunities
  • Administer employee payroll deduction giving programs and related administrative processes
  • Track, document, and acknowledge contributions; maintain donor records and campaign performance metrics
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate human resources professionals, employee giving committees, and workplace contacts
  • Coordinate workplace fundraising events and volunteer activities at DESC sites across King County
  • Answer questions about DESC, workplace giving options, and the donation process

Who We're Looking For

  • Background in nonprofit fundraising, corporate development, workplace giving programs, or related fund development work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; skill in translating mission into compelling giving messages
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines
  • Competence with spreadsheets, database systems, and donor management tools
  • Demonstrated success building and sustaining professional relationships
  • Genuine commitment to DESC's mission of serving people experiencing homelessness and poverty
  • Reliable transportation for occasional travel to DESC program sites in King County
