Position Summary

We're seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated hydraulic repair mechanic for our Aurora repair shop. In this full-time position, you'll work on diverse hydraulic equipment and systems, diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. Your technical expertise will directly contribute to keeping our customers' operations running smoothly across the region.

Core Duties

• Diagnose hydraulic system malfunctions and troubleshoot problems using specialized testing equipment
• Repair and rebuild hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and associated components
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine service on hydraulic systems
• Test and verify repaired equipment for proper functionality and safety compliance
• Accurately document repair work, parts inventory, and service hours
• Maintain a clean and organized repair workspace following safety protocols

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience repairing hydraulic systems and equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical diagnostic abilities
• Knowledge of hydraulic components, fluid systems, and pressure principles
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals
• Mechanical aptitude with careful attention to detail
