Working Student, Data & Analytics (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential analytics software organization seeking a Working Student to support their Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will:

• Support the team with day-to-day analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting tasks that require immediate attention
• Build and maintain data ingestion workflows and keep scheduled pipelines running smoothly as data sources evolve
• Develop Data Apps and Reports that teams across the organization use for self-service analytics
• Research business questions brought by internal stakeholders and deliver actionable insights
• Improve existing workflows, Data Apps, and Reports through performance optimization, cleanup, and documentation
• Own tasks end to end: scope requirements, execute independently, and deliver clear results

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone who brings both technical skills and independence:

• Currently enrolled at a university or Hochschule in Berlin with at least 12 months of study remaining
• Available at least 16 hours per week, with two days on-site in the Kreuzberg office
• Working knowledge of modern analytics platforms and data science fundamentals
• Solid SQL and database experience
• Strong research skills: you find sources, evaluate relevance, and deliver answers rather than lists of links
• Experience drafting Data Apps and Reports with AI support, with ability to explain the results
• High degree of independence: you structure your own work, unblock yourself through documentation and research, and know when to ask for help
• Reliability and attention to detail when working on systems others depend on
• Fluent English required

Bonus qualifications:

• Advanced certifications in analytics platforms
• Experience with workflow scheduling, spaces, and deployments
• Python or JavaScript for custom snippets and visualizations
• German language skills
