Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential e-commerce organization seeking a Marketing Manager for a 4-month maternity cover assignment. This is a 100% remote contract role open to candidates across multiple European countries, South Africa, and Malaysia.

Our client operates successful direct-to-consumer brands with substantial annual revenue. They've built a collaborative, AI-forward culture where marketers can experiment, test, and see direct impact from their work.

Responsibilities

In this full-stack marketing role, you will:

• Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with business objectives, not just engagement metrics
• Conduct customer research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities
• Analyze performance data and translate findings into actionable improvements
• Manage marketing projects from concept through launch and optimization
• Write persuasive ad copy, landing page content, and funnel messaging that converts
• Review and provide feedback on design work to ensure brand consistency and conversion optimization
• Quality-assure landing pages for user experience, flow, and functionality
• Design and run A/B tests to improve conversion rates across touchpoints
• Collaborate with developers on website updates and improvements
• Serve as the liaison between marketing, design, and development teams
• Create clear creative and technical briefs for cross-functional initiatives
• Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify pain points and opportunities
• Leverage AI tools (GPT, image/video generators, automation platforms) to accelerate execution and experimentation

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or full-stack marketer in e-commerce environments
• Hands-on experience building with AI tools, including workflow automations and AI-assisted content creation
• Deep understanding of digital marketing and performance marketing principles
• Strong copywriting skills with ability to write clear, persuasive content
• Knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and website optimization techniques
• Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze metrics and identify what drives sales
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Experience collaborating with designers and developers
• Self-directed work style suited to remote environments
• Customer research orientation and genuine interest in understanding buyer behavior
• Passion for e-commerce growth and experimentation

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with marketing automation platforms
• Proficiency with heatmap tools, ad managers, and analytics platforms
• Track record of continuous testing and iterative improvement
