Product Manager (m/w/d) – Data Center / Network

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential IT distribution organization seeking a Product Manager specializing in Data Center and Network solutions. This role is based in Karlsruhe and offers the opportunity to work with a comprehensive portfolio of technology vendors while shaping procurement strategy for enterprise infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic relationships with manufacturers and suppliers in the data center and network infrastructure space
• Analyze procurement markets, monitoring availability trends and price developments
• Contribute to pricing strategy, product placement, and targeted marketing activities
• Conduct contract negotiations and expand distribution contacts
• Optimize inventory levels to ensure economic stock management while meeting operational requirements
• Support marketing initiatives and strengthen vendor partnerships

What We're Looking For

• Completed commercial/business training or equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience in strategic procurement or product/category management
• Prior experience in IT distribution or systems integration, preferably with focus on data center infrastructure (network and server technologies)
• Proficiency with PowerBI, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Fluent German and English language skills (minimum C1 level in both)
• Strong negotiation abilities and analytical mindset
