We are representing a confidential retail client in the beauty-tech sector, seeking a Store Assistant (Werkstudent) to join their Hamburg location. Our talent team is looking for sales-driven individuals who thrive in dynamic retail environments and are passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences. This is a working student position offering flexible scheduling alongside your studies.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales through proactive customer engagement and enthusiastic product demonstrations
• Create an inspiring, welcoming atmosphere that transforms the store into a destination experience
• Provide expert consultation on innovative beauty and wellness products
• Maintain performance targets and track your success metrics
• Manage customer inquiries in both German and English
• Handle flexible shift schedules Monday–Saturday between 08:00 and 22:00
• Remain composed and effective during high-traffic periods
• Authentically represent the brand's values around self-care and innovation

What We're Looking For

• Previous retail or sales experience (Store Assistant, Sales Consultant, Customer Advisor or similar roles)
• Background in beauty, cosmetics, tech, or wellness sectors is a strong plus
• Availability for rotating shifts, including peak sales days (Fridays and Saturdays)
• Sales-driven mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets
• Natural ability to engage customers and build rapport quickly
• Composure and effectiveness in fast-paced, high-volume environments
• Genuine interest in wellness, beauty innovation, and lifestyle products
• Fluent German and good English for daily customer interactions
• Currently enrolled as a student with the flexibility to work part-time hours

Pay
