Waiver QA Consultant Part-Time

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare organization serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Tennessee. We are seeking a Part-Time Waiver QA Consultant to ensure programmatic compliance with state standards through remote quality assurance review work.

This contract position requires 10-15 hours per week and is fully remote. You must currently reside in Tennessee and have direct experience with Tennessee Department of Disability and Aging programs.

Responsibilities

• Review program documentation and records entered into the client's system for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Tennessee regulatory guidelines
• Evaluate programmatic work prepared by program managers and staff to ensure adherence to state standards
• Identify recurring compliance issues and recommend corrective actions to leadership
• Assist directors and program managers in implementing accepted quality improvement recommendations
• Review internal processes and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with leadership and staff to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency
• Provide guidance and direction on documentation and record retention best practices
• Prepare necessary reports reflecting individuals' program progress with accuracy and completeness

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Current residence in Tennessee (mandatory)
• Direct experience with Tennessee Department of Disability and Aging programs (DDA, ECF, CLS, Waiver, Family Model services)
• Knowledge of programming practices and techniques for individuals with intellectual disabilities
• Proven ability to review documentation for regulatory compliance
• Strong judgment in interpreting and implementing programs according to state standards

• Excellent computer skills and comfort with technology (client operates as a paperless agency)
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently without close supervision
• Flexibility and willingness to learn quickly
• Capability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders

Technical Requirements:

• High-speed internet connection
• At least one monitor 27" or larger (for use with company-provided laptop)
• Dedicated mouse and keyboard

Important Note: Applicants currently in full-time roles must ensure they can dependably dedicate 10-15 hours per week to this position. This work cannot conflict with or be performed during primary employment duties.

Pay
