About the Role

Reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer, the VP of Organizational Excellence functions as a senior enterprise strategist accountable for building and sustaining a culture of continuous improvement across Methodist Healthcare Ministries (MHM). This leader drives performance excellence, quality, compliance, organizational learning, and culture transformation at a system-wide level — working shoulder-to-shoulder with the executive team to align operational outcomes with MHM's mission and long-term strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Lead enterprise-wide continuous improvement initiatives, embedding performance excellence frameworks throughout the organization
  • Champion a culture of accountability, learning, and innovation by developing and overseeing organizational effectiveness programs
  • Oversee quality management and compliance functions, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
  • Partner with executive and senior leadership to design and execute change management strategies that advance organizational goals
  • Build and sustain learning and development systems that grow talent, strengthen leadership pipelines, and deepen employee engagement
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure organizational health and drive data-informed decision-making
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Administrative Officer on matters of strategy, culture, and institutional effectiveness

What We're Looking For

  • Advanced degree in business administration, healthcare administration, organizational development, or a closely related field
  • Substantial senior leadership experience, ideally within a healthcare, nonprofit, or mission-driven organization
  • Demonstrated expertise in performance improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Baldrige frameworks
  • Proven ability to lead compliance and quality programs in a complex, multi-program environment
  • Exceptional executive communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of an organization
  • Track record of driving sustainable cultural change and organizational transformation
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic action
