Venture Development Manager (MBA Graduate)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential events and media organization seeking a Venture Development Manager to lead and scale one of their key business units. In this role, you will oversee all operational and strategic aspects of the business, driving growth and building a high-performing team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Recruiting, building, and developing a high-performing team to execute on ambitious growth targets
• Setting clear expectations, establishing goals, and providing ongoing feedback and performance evaluations
• Overseeing planning, execution, and completion of events within designated timelines and budget constraints
• Assigning tasks across departments, monitoring progress, and ensuring project objectives are achieved
• Executing strategic initiatives at a rapid pace in a fast-moving environment
• Developing the brand positioning and market presence within the sector
• Identifying opportunities to expand business with existing clients and supporting new client acquisition efforts

Required qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in high-performance environments such as management consulting, investment banking, top-tier corporate settings, or fast-growth startups
• Bachelor's degree with outstanding academic results; MBA preferred
• Strong commercial awareness and genuine passion for business development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated leadership capability
• Proven track record of achieving measurable results and driving growth
• UK, EU, or US work authorization required
