Responsibilities
Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Test Automation Specialist (m/w/d) in Karlsruhe. In this central role, you'll ensure software quality through automated testing processes in an agile banking environment.
Your day-to-day work includes:
- Developing and executing test automation within an agile financial services project
- Supporting business units in specifying concrete test cases from an automation perspective
- Running and monitoring automated test executions
- Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive test concepts, including test design and specification
- Coordinating and overseeing test case creation
- Analyzing and documenting test results
- Optimizing and conceptually advancing the test framework
What We're Looking For
We're seeking candidates with:
- Professional or project experience in software testing with knowledge of automation and testing tools such as Playwright, aqua, Jira, and Confluence
- Basic Java knowledge and/or ISTQB certification (desirable)
- Experience in agile software development and the banking industry (advantageous)
- Technical understanding, logical thinking, and a strong quality mindset
- German language proficiency for collaboration with business stakeholders
