About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential health insurance organization in Paris that is transforming how social protection partners engage with the prevention and care sector. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead relationships with France's union ecosystem, positioning our client as a trusted voice in social dialogue.

As Union Relations Lead, you will develop the strategy for engaging confederations, federations, and paritariste institutions while supporting enterprise sales teams with strategic intelligence and key introductions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with employee representatives, unions, federations, and paritariste structures across priority sectors
  • Map the social partner ecosystem and design engagement strategies at confederal, federal, and branch levels
  • Represent our client in federations, working groups, and paritariste institutions where sector policy is shaped
  • Partner with enterprise and public sector sales teams by providing social partner context, strategic introductions, and commercial leverage
  • Monitor branch-level dialogue and paritariste developments, translating insights into actionable intelligence for internal stakeholders
  • Build knowledge libraries, frameworks, and tools to scale social partner engagement across deal teams
  • Provide competitive intelligence on how social partners and competitors position themselves in key markets
  • Contribute to commercial operations by sharing proven methodologies and best practices

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in social partner relations through union organizations, branch federations, paritariste institutions, or external affairs roles at mutuelles, insurers, or institutions de prévoyance
  • Legitimate credibility at federation level with proven ability to engage federation leadership as a peer
  • Deep knowledge of the paritariste ecosystem including branch agreements, confederal mandates, protection sociale reforms, and institutional functions
  • Demonstrated success building trust with social partners from the employer or state side
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills: calm, strategic, trustworthy, and discreet
  • Ability to translate complex product and business strategies into compelling narratives for social partner audiences
  • Documented impact from prior social partner work on organizational commercial and strategic outcomes
  • Self-starter comfortable building processes from scratch in fast-paced environments
  • Collaborative mindset focused on enabling others rather than seeking personal spotlight
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Paris, France

Valuable additional experience:

  • Confederal or federal elected or permanent representative background
  • Experience inside paritariste institutions or sector federations on social dialogue agendas
  • Legal background in droit social with ability to quickly analyze accords collectifs
  • Exposure to European social dialogue ecosystem
  • Experience with RFPs or tenders involving union-negotiated or paritariste schemes
