Tree Trimmer

WSC is hiring a full-time Tree Trimmer to join our team at one of two locations. If you have hands-on experience safely maintaining trees and working outdoors, we'd like to hear from you.

What This Role Involves

As a Tree Trimmer with WSC, you'll play a vital role in maintaining landscape health and safety. This position combines technical skill with physical work, requiring you to assess tree conditions, execute precise trimming and pruning techniques, and operate specialized equipment. You'll work in outdoor environments across our service areas, contributing to both residential and commercial properties that depend on professional tree care.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Trim, prune, and cut tree branches and limbs according to established safety and horticultural standards
• Operate chainsaws, pruning saws, and other specialized trimming equipment
• Remove damaged, diseased, or overgrown branches to improve tree health and appearance
• Climb trees safely using proper harnesses, ropes, and climbing techniques
• Clear brush, branches, and debris from work sites and dispose of materials responsibly
• Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company procedures on every job
• Communicate with supervisors about job progress and any site conditions or hazards

Requirements

• Proven experience in tree trimming, tree surgery, or similar forestry or landscaping work
• Strong understanding of tree care practices and safety protocols
• Ability to safely operate chainsaw and related trimming equipment
• Physical ability to climb, lift, and work at heights for extended periods
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
