Williams is seeking a Project Engineer (Senior/Staff) – Power & Automation to join our team. This full-time position is available across 3 locations for an experienced engineering professional ready to drive impactful projects in power and automation systems.

About the Role

As a Senior or Staff-level Project Engineer in Power & Automation at Williams, you will lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex engineering initiatives. This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic project management, requiring you to coordinate across teams, manage critical stakeholder relationships, and deliver solutions that achieve operational and business objectives in the power sector.

Your Responsibilities

• Direct the full lifecycle of power and automation engineering projects from initial concept through successful completion
• Develop technical specifications, design robust solutions, and prepare comprehensive engineering documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, safety, and leadership
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful on-time, on-budget delivery
• Identify technical challenges, evaluate alternative solutions, and lead problem resolution efforts
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to strengthening team technical capabilities
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality protocols throughout execution
