I&E Operations Technician II,III

Williams is seeking full-time I&E Operations Technicians II and III to join our operations teams at two facility locations. In these hands-on technical roles, you'll maintain and monitor the instrumentation and electrical systems essential to keeping our operations running safely and efficiently.

What This Role Involves

As an I&E Operations Technician, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of critical instrumentation and electrical infrastructure. Working in a dynamic plant environment, you'll troubleshoot systems, manage control equipment, and partner with operations and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and drive continuous improvement across our facilities.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and operate instrumentation and electrical control systems in a plant setting
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and testing on specialized equipment
• Troubleshoot system faults and implement effective technical solutions
• Collect, document, and analyze operational data to support facility management
• Support the installation and commissioning of new instrumentation components
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards
• Coordinate with operations staff, maintenance teams, and engineers on technical requirements

Requirements

• Technical training or professional certification in instrumentation, electrical systems, or closely related discipline
• Demonstrated proficiency with industrial control systems and ability to interpret electrical schematics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a plant operations environment
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance
• Physical capability to perform tasks in an industrial setting, including climbing, bending, and lifting
