Position Summary
As Ag District Sales Manager for Wilburellis's Pennsylvania territory, you will manage a defined sales district, develop key accounts, and grow market presence among agricultural businesses. You'll leverage industry expertise and consultative selling to expand Wilburellis's footprint while delivering solutions that help agricultural operations succeed.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned Pennsylvania district sales territory and establish sales targets aligned with company objectives
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities among agricultural customers and prospects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farm operations, cooperatives, and agricultural supply businesses
- Present product solutions and negotiate contracts to meet customer needs and profitability goals
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to inform territory strategy
- Travel within Pennsylvania district to conduct site visits and attend industry events
- Prepare sales forecasts, maintain customer records, and provide activity reports to management
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record in agricultural sales, business development, or territory management
- Strong understanding of agricultural markets, customer needs, and industry operations
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with ability to establish trust
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth
- Self-motivated, independent professional with strong time and territory management
- Willingness to travel within Pennsylvania district as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
