Treasury Sales Officer

About the Role

In this Treasury Sales Officer position at Pinnbank near Omaha 180th and Dodge, you will spearhead market-level efforts to generate treasury management business by targeting prospective commercial clients, closing new relationships, and increasing adoption of cash management, payments, and related offerings among established accounts. Serving as the primary sales contact for treasury needs, you collaborate with commercial lenders and colleagues while coordinating with specialized onboarding and support groups after the sale. Success requires independent judgment on key matters, consistent pipeline management, and strong community visibility to generate referrals and elevate market standing.

Core Duties

• Identify, pursue, and secure new treasury management clients among businesses in the assigned area
• Grow product utilization and associated fee income inside existing commercial and business banking portfolios
• Guide treasury sales initiatives alongside commercial loan officers and other internal partners
• Act as the lead treasury advisor during client discussions, recommending solutions matched to cash flow, payment processing, and fraud protection requirements
• Prepare and deliver client review meetings and presentations that accurately convey all required materials and information
• Build ongoing visibility within the local business community to strengthen referral networks and market position
• Partner with onboarding, implementation, and account support colleagues to deliver seamless post-sale experiences and high satisfaction
• Oversee personal sales pipeline, activity metrics, and goal tracking while remaining accountable for overall market performance
• Communicate clearly and promptly with colleagues, clients, and partners both during standard hours and outside those hours when needed

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional work experience
• Five years of banking and/or cash management background
• Documented success in a prior business development capacity with quantifiable outcomes
• Working knowledge of treasury management products, bank compliance standards, and related software systems
• Existing familiarity or established connections within the local business community
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong, timely communication and coordination skills when interacting with managers, clients, coworkers, and external vendors
• Capability to research industry segments and evaluate client product portfolios
• Willingness and ability to travel as required
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) credential preferred
