This Salaried GP opening at Penrosehealth’s Deptford Surgery centres on delivering thorough medical consultations grounded in current GMC registration. You operate as part of an integrated group that comprises nurses, paramedics, pharmacists, mental health specialists and clinical admin specialists. Support from allied health professionals keeps external pressures low, enabling greater concentration on core clinical interactions while safeguarding personal wellbeing and ongoing development.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Hold safe, productive consultations that meet patient needs and clinical standards
• Coordinate regularly with nurses, paramedics, pharmacists, mental health specialists and clinical admin specialists
• Complete a lighter schedule of home visits and minor-illness appointments
• Process fewer repeat-prescription requests and overall administrative items
• Undertake only limited on-call commitments
• Apply proficiency in EMIS, T-Quest and Pathlinks during everyday clinical work
• Draw on input from Lead GPs, group Clinical Leads and reliable back-office assistance

What We're Looking For

• Valid GMC registration confirming readiness for general-practice duties
• Clear, confident communication skills suited to patient and colleague interactions
• Assured use of EMIS, T-Quest and Pathlinks systems
• Commitment to providing reliable, patient-focused medicine in a team environment
