Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Treasury & Liquidity Specialist. This is a hands-on operational role sitting at the center of how our client moves money across multiple currencies, banking partners, and settlement rails. You will ensure liquidity is positioned correctly so that payouts, settlements, and trades execute without delay. This role reports to the Head of Liquidity & Custody and works closely with pricing and forecasting colleagues—you own execution and movement of capital.

Responsibilities

Liquidity & Cash Management:

• Execute fund movements between banks and liquidity providers to maintain adequate balances for USD, EUR, GBP, and local-currency payouts
• Monitor account balances daily and proactively top up accounts before payments are blocked
• Initiate wires, ACH, and SWIFT transfers within established approval limits
• Trade with liquidity providers to convert stablecoin to fiat (and vice versa), locking rates directly with trading desks as needed
• Assist with liquidity planning, projections, and management of capital cycles

Banking & Liquidity Partner Relationships:

• Serve as day-to-day contact for liquidity providers and banking partners across African markets, the US, UK, and EU
• Coordinate wallet whitelisting and infrastructure changes with liquidity providers
• Monitor counterparty exposure and settlement risk; escalate access or settlement issues promptly

Settlement, Reconciliation & Reporting:

• Reconcile liquidity provider and bank statements against internal records
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks and balance discrepancies
• Collect and maintain monthly statements to support month-end close
• Maintain accurate records of all fund movements and payment transactions
• Support treasury risk reporting through liquidity dashboards

Cross-Functional & Ad Hoc Support:

• Process and review customer refunds
• Support funding approvals for operational expenses and payroll
• Partner with Finance, Compliance, and Product/Engineering on liquidity issues and new market launches
• Document processes and cross-train team members to ensure continuity

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 3–5+ years of hands-on treasury or liquidity operations experience at a crypto exchange, fintech company, or financial institution
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline; advanced credentials (CA(SA), CIMA/CGMA, CFA) preferred
• Demonstrated experience moving fiat and crypto/stablecoin liquidity across multiple banks, liquidity providers, and markets—ideally including African corridors and multi-currency (USD, EUR, GBP) environments
• Direct, hands-on experience initiating wire/ACH/SWIFT payments and executing spot FX or stablecoin conversions with liquidity provider trading desks
• Familiarity with crypto custody/settlement platforms and stablecoins (USDC, USDT)
• Strong reconciliation skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work hours aligned mainly with the US business day to provide after-hours coverage
• Calm under time pressure; self-starter with high integrity, comfortable with real financial authority and autonomy

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to treasury management systems or reconciliation automation tools
• General familiarity with the regulatory environment for crypto-asset service providers
