This Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care position places you at the bedside of patients recovering from surgery and anesthesia in a Nashville healthcare facility. This is a full-time travel role structured around a 13-week contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct post-anesthesia recovery care to surgical patients in the PACU.
- Continuously assess vital signs, airway status, pain levels, and neurological response after anesthesia.
- Identify and respond promptly to post-operative complications and changes in patient condition.
- Coordinate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and the perioperative team to guide each patient toward stabilization.
- Document care accurately and communicate clearly during patient hand-offs.
