TNAA TotalMed RN is currently placing a qualified Travel Nurse RN – ED (Emergency Department) for a 12-week travel assignment in Milton, Massachusetts (Norfolk County) — a full-time, night-shift position starting July 20, 2026.

About the Role

This Emergency Department travel nursing opportunity is ideal for an RN who thrives in fast-paced acute care environments and is ready to bring their ED expertise to a new community. Working 36 hours per week across three 12-hour night shifts, you'll join a dedicated team delivering critical, time-sensitive care to patients across the Milton, Norfolk County area.

What You'll Do

• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with emergent and urgent medical conditions
• Initiate and manage IV access, medication administration, and emergency interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute treatment plans
• Monitor patient status continuously and respond rapidly to changes in condition
• Maintain accurate, real-time documentation in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions, follow-up care, and medication
• Uphold patient safety protocols and Joint Commission standards throughout every shift

What We're Looking For

• Active RN license valid in Massachusetts (or Compact license eligibility)
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent Emergency Department experience as a registered nurse
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to manage high patient acuity independently
• Adaptability to new facility protocols, EMR systems, and team dynamics
• Availability for 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, beginning July 20, 2026
