About the Role
As a CDL-A Delivery Truck Driver, you'll operate a commercial vehicle to distribute products across our routes while maintaining the highest safety and reliability standards. Your work directly supports major brands that depend on McLane's distribution network to reach customers.
What You'll Do
- Operate a commercial delivery vehicle safely and efficiently across assigned routes
- Inspect your vehicle before and after each trip to ensure proper condition and safety
- Comply with all Department of Transportation regulations and maintain accurate driving logs
- Deliver products on schedule while preserving product quality and vehicle condition
- Communicate professionally with customers and maintain strong client relationships
- Follow company safety protocols and defensive driving practices
What We're Looking For
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Current Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification
- Clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices
- Experience operating commercial delivery vehicles (preferred)
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
- Dedication to safety and reliability in all driving situations
