As a perioperative Operating Room Registered Nurse, you'll join the surgical team for a 13-week contract, working 36 hours per week across 12-hour day shifts. The assignment is scheduled to begin on July 27, 2026, with an immediate need for a skilled OR RN ready to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care to surgical patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room environment in line with established standards.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and assist throughout each case as a circulating or scrub nurse.
- Monitor patient status, document care accurately, and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia staff, and fellow nurses to ensure safe, efficient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure valid for practice in Michigan.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in the OR – Operating Room specialty.
- Availability to commit to a 13-week, 36-hour-per-week travel contract on 12-hour day shifts.
- Flexibility to relocate temporarily to Petoskey, Michigan and start by July 27, 2026.
- Strong attention to detail, sterile technique, and teamwork under pressure.
