Environmental Staff Assessor – Early Career

About the Role

As an Environmental Staff Assessor, you'll take on a foundational role in our environmental consulting practice. You'll conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), compile environmental data, and prepare technical reports that guide client decisions on real estate transactions, development projects, and regulatory compliance. This position offers hands-on experience in the environmental assessment field while building technical expertise under the guidance of senior consultants.

What You'll Do

• Perform Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments and due diligence investigations
• Conduct environmental sampling, testing, and field data collection at client sites
• Research historical environmental records, regulatory databases, and property documentation
• Prepare clear, accurate environmental assessment reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Assist with environmental compliance evaluations and regulatory submissions
• Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and project teams to address environmental concerns
• Maintain safety and quality standards while conducting assessments

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Strong analytical and technical writing skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assessments simultaneously
• Communication skills for interfacing with clients and team members
