About the Role

As a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney with the Law Offices of Bradford & Barthel, LLP, you will manage workers' compensation defense matters on behalf of our clients throughout the State of California. This position offers the option to work on a remote or hybrid basis, and California residency is not required to apply. It is an ideal opportunity for legal professionals who want meaningful caseloads, professional growth, and the flexibility of a statewide practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle workers' compensation defense cases from inception through resolution.
• Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and other proceedings before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board.
• Prepare pleadings, legal correspondence, and case strategy documentation.
• Advise clients on liability, exposure, and case developments.
• Collaborate with colleagues across our California offices to deliver responsive, high-quality representation.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of California in good standing.
• Experience in workers' compensation defense is strongly preferred.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
• Commitment to professionalism, client service, and ethical practice.
