Position Summary
As a Registered Dietitian with Aya Healthcare's West End facility, you'll provide comprehensive nutritional assessment, counseling, and medical nutrition therapy to diverse patient populations. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough nutritional assessments and develop individualized medical nutrition therapy plans
- Educate patients and families on dietary modifications and nutrition-related conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and clinical teams to optimize patient care outcomes
- Document nutrition interventions and patient progress in electronic health records systems
- Monitor clinical indicators and adjust nutrition plans based on patient response
- Maintain compliance with dietary regulations, Joint Commission standards, and facility protocols
- Contribute to interdisciplinary quality improvement and nutrition-focused initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Valid Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential
- Active Pennsylvania state licensure to practice dietetics
- Professional liability insurance (or willingness to secure coverage)
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical nutrition assessment and patient communication
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts—five 8-hour days weekly
