About the Role
Aya Healthcare is currently seeking a skilled Travel CVOR Tech to support a busy cardiovascular surgical team in Silverdale, WA. As a CVOR Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital part in keeping open-heart and vascular procedures running smoothly. The assignment spans 13 weeks with an anticipated start date of July 13, 2026, and follows a rotating schedule of five 8-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field, instruments, and equipment for cardiovascular operating room procedures.
- Anticipate the needs of surgeons and pass instruments efficiently during open-heart and vascular surgeries.
- Uphold strict aseptic technique and infection-control standards throughout each case.
- Assist with setup, turnover, and breakdown of the CVOR suite between procedures.
- Collaborate closely with the surgical team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CVOR Tech or surgical technologist within a cardiovascular operating room.
