Key Responsibilities

• Carry out physical therapy treatment plans under the direction of a supervising physical therapist
• Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and outpatient rehabilitation activities
• Track patient progress and document care accurately and consistently
• Educate patients and families on exercises, recovery goals, and home programs
• Collaborate with the outpatient care team to deliver safe, effective treatment

Qualifications

• Active, valid Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license eligible for practice in Virginia
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
