About the Role

AHS Staffing is hiring a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant for a long-term travel placement within the therapy discipline, based out of the Montesano, Washington area (Preachers Slough, Grays Harbor County). This is a full-time, on-site travel position in a skilled nursing facility (SNF), with a scheduled start of June 29, 2026, and a planned 12-week duration. You'll work 40 hours each week across 8-hour day shifts, supporting patients through their recovery journeys alongside an experienced clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out physical therapy treatment plans designed by the supervising physical therapist
• Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities
• Track patient progress and document outcomes in line with facility and regulatory standards
• Support older adults and long-term residents within the skilled nursing facility environment
• Communicate consistently with therapists, nursing staff, and care teams to coordinate quality care

Qualifications

• Current, valid Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) licensure appropriate for practice in Washington State
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Experience or strong interest in skilled nursing facility (SNF) and long-term care settings
• Willingness and availability to travel and commit to the full assignment length
