What This Role Involves
As a CT Technician with Aya Healthcare, you'll operate advanced diagnostic imaging equipment in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) scanners following established protocols and safety standards
- Position patients correctly for imaging scans and ensure their comfort and safety throughout procedures
- Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures and scan parameters
- Follow infection control and radiation safety guidelines consistently
- Communicate clearly with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff regarding imaging results and patient care
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks
Who We're Looking For
- Current CT Technician certification (ARRT or state-equivalent) required
- Active unrestricted license to practice in Idaho
- Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on CT imaging experience
- Strong patient communication and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
- Flexibility to work night shifts on a three-day-per-week schedule
