About the Role

This is a direct-patient-care position for an experienced Cath Lab Tech ready to work a travel assignment. You'll deliver clinical support during cardiac catheterization procedures on day shifts—four 10-hour shifts per week—in a facility-based catheterization laboratory where precision and teamwork drive successful patient outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Prepare, maintain, and sterilize catheterization lab equipment, instruments, and supplies before and between procedures
• Assist interventional cardiologists and nursing staff during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status throughout catheterization and post-procedure recovery
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols, radiation safety standards, and patient confidentiality requirements
• Document procedure details and patient care activities accurately in the medical record
• Position patients appropriately, manage equipment during procedures, and respond to clinical needs with efficiency
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and team members to ensure safe, quality patient care

What We're Looking For

• Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent qualification
• Demonstrated experience in a catheterization lab or similar invasive cardiology environment
• Solid understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and common interventional procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities in a fast-paced medical setting
• Professional judgment, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to patient safety
• Adaptability and readiness to succeed in a temporary travel contract assignment

Assignment Details

You'll work this 13-week contract in Lima, Ohio, on a day-shift schedule: four days per week, 10 hours per day (40 hours weekly). Start date is as soon as possible.
