About the Role

In this Third Grade STEM Teacher role, you'll create dynamic, hands-on learning experiences that develop problem-solving skills and scientific curiosity. Your instruction will integrate STEM principles across the elementary curriculum, making complex concepts accessible and exciting for eight and nine-year-old learners.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver inquiry-based STEM lessons aligned with state standards for third grade
  • Design and facilitate hands-on experiments, engineering challenges, and technology activities
  • Differentiate instruction to support learners at all levels and with diverse learning styles
  • Integrate mathematics, science, and technology across daily lessons
  • Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and families to support student success
  • Foster an environment where exploration, discovery, and critical thinking are valued

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Current, valid Texas teaching certificate in elementary education
  • Requirement to complete Gifted and Talented (GT) Certification within 30 hours
  • Experience or strong aptitude in STEM instruction and project-based learning
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
