About the Role
As a Community Manager, you'll play a central role in fostering meaningful connections between our partners and within our network of changemakers. This is a full-time position based in Arlington, Arlington County, where you'll directly support the relationships and engagement that make our collaborative work possible.
What You'll Do
- Foster engagement and dialogue among our network of philanthropic partners and changemakers
- Develop and execute community-building initiatives, events, and programs that strengthen relationships
- Create and share resources, updates, and thought leadership that keep our community informed and connected
- Gather feedback from partners and stakeholders to inform strategy and improvements
- Support peer learning and collaboration across our portfolio areas, including education, economic opportunity, community strengthening, and civic division
- Moderate discussions and communications to maintain a respectful, productive community environment
- Identify opportunities to deepen partnerships and expand network reach
What We're Looking For
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Demonstrated experience building or managing communities, whether online or in-person
- Project management abilities and comfort with coordinating multiple initiatives simultaneously
- A genuine passion for philanthropy and systems-level change
- Ability to work collaboratively in a mission-driven environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
