Temporary First Party Collector

About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential receivables management organization seeking Temporary First Party Collectors for a short-term remote assignment running from November 9, 2026 through December 31, 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with collections, customer service, or call center backgrounds to join a growing team in the financial services sector.

As a First Party Collector, you will be responsible for contacting debtors to collect payments and resolve outstanding account issues. You'll work collaboratively with internal teams to examine financial situations, review documentation, and establish payment resolutions while maintaining strict compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Make a minimum of 80 outbound and inbound calls daily
• Negotiate payment in full or secure payment arrangements with debtors
• Create appropriate urgency with non-paying accounts
• Collaborate with support representatives to resolve disputes
• Review debtor financial situations, documents, and contracts
• Work cases through to closure or escalation following compliance requirements
• Meet or exceed monthly phone activity and performance quotas
• Maintain professionalism and respect in all debtor and peer interactions
• Manage time effectively and prioritize workload

What We're Looking For

• Experience in collections, sales, telemarketing, customer service, or call center environments (preferred)
• Strong computer skills with basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry
• Excel experience preferred
• Experience with CRM systems is a plus
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Basic math and writing skills
• Strong attention to detail and goal-oriented mindset
• Ability to de-escalate challenging situations
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Dependability and strong work ethics
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor

Work Arrangement & Duration

This is a fully remote/telecommute position available to candidates in the United States. The assignment runs from November 9, 2026 through December 31, 2026.

Pay

The client offers $12-15 per hour plus performance bonuses. Our client also provides a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage options; 401(k) with company matching; generous paid time off starting at 18 days per year; and paid holidays (7 standard holidays plus 2 floating holidays).
