What This Role Involves

As a Teller at Wells Fargo's Charlotte branch, you'll be the face of our bank—processing transactions, building customer relationships, and maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and security. Working part-time, you'll gain hands-on experience in banking while balancing other commitments. Your daily work ensures customers have smooth, efficient experiences whether they're depositing checks, withdrawing cash, or opening accounts.

Responsibilities

• Process customer deposits, withdrawals, and other financial transactions with precision
• Receive and pay out customer funds in compliance with bank policies
• Open new customer accounts and update account information
• Sell financial products and services while understanding customer needs
• Count, verify, and balance cash and monetary instruments at end of shift
• Identify and report suspicious activity to protect customers and the bank
• Provide friendly, professional customer service while maintaining efficiency
• Maintain knowledge of banking products and direct customers to appropriate services

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Proven customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accurate cash handling abilities
• Basic math skills and proficiency with calculator and computer systems
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
• Ability to work flexible part-time hours including potential weekend shifts
• Willingness to follow procedures and comply with banking regulations
• Prior retail or banking experience is a plus
