Operator – 2nd Shift (Mon-Fri 4p-12a)

Westlake is hiring an Operator for the 2nd shift (Monday through Friday, 4 PM to midnight) at our Elkland, Pennsylvania facility. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to join a production team in a manufacturing environment.

Position Summary

As an Operator on the 2nd shift, you'll play an essential role in our manufacturing operations. Working Monday through Friday from 4 PM to midnight, you'll monitor and control production equipment, ensure product quality, and maintain safe working conditions. This hands-on position requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a strong commitment to operational excellence and safety.

Core Duties

• Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures and specifications
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, inspections, and equipment adjustments to keep operations running smoothly
• Collect and record production data, quality metrics, and equipment readings throughout your shift
• Identify equipment malfunctions or quality concerns and report findings to maintenance and supervision
• Maintain compliance with all safety protocols and keep the work area clean and organized
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and shift objectives
• Respond promptly to alarms and troubleshoot basic operational issues as they arise

Who We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule (Monday–Friday, 4 PM–midnight) reliably
• Mechanical aptitude and basic problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to read gauges, production charts, and written instructions
• Dependable attendance and openness to learning new equipment and procedures
• Prior manufacturing or production experience is beneficial but not required
