The Opportunity

We're seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical unit, working full-time on the day shift. This role offers the chance to care for diverse patient populations while collaborating with experienced clinicians who are committed to professional excellence. You'll work consistent day-shift hours in a supportive unit culture that values teamwork and continuous learning.

Your Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients' clinical status, vital signs, pain levels, and changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to physician orders and hospital protocols
• Perform and manage wound care, dressing changes, and monitor wound healing
• Manage intravenous access, infusions, catheters, and other medical devices
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record system
• Educate patients and families about their condition, medications, and discharge care
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and other members of the care team
• Support discharge planning and ensure safe transitions of care

Skills & Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification
• Clinical knowledge of medical and surgical nursing best practices
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple patients and prioritize care effectively
• Professional demeanor and genuine commitment to patient advocacy and safety
