Seafood Sales Associate

Weis is seeking a Seafood Sales Associate to join the team at our Essex, MD location. This is a full-time position serving customers and managing our seafood department with dedication and product expertise.

Position Summary

As a Seafood Sales Associate with Weis, you'll be the face of our fresh seafood counter, helping customers find exactly what they need while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety. You'll take pride in building relationships with shoppers who depend on us for quality proteins and trusted expertise. This full-time role is central to delivering the customer experience Weis is known for.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Cut, wrap, and display fresh seafood according to customer requests and departmental standards
• Respond to customer inquiries about seafood selection, preparation, and cooking recommendations
• Maintain a clean, well-organized, and appealingly stocked seafood counter throughout your shift
• Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure customer confidence and health compliance
• Operate point-of-sale systems and process customer transactions accurately
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving and stocking fresh shipments
• Collaborate with department leadership and team members to meet daily sales and service goals
