In this Specialty Software Engineering Senior Manager role focused on FICC, you'll oversee the conception, development, and deployment of advanced software platforms serving fixed income, currencies, and commodities markets. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Guide engineering teams building specialty software for FICC platforms, including fixed income analytics, FX execution systems, and commodities trading tools
• Establish technical vision, architectural standards, and quality practices across multiple specialty software initiatives
• Partner with business leaders, traders, and risk teams to define product roadmaps and technical priorities
• Foster engineering excellence through hiring, mentorship, and professional development of senior technical talent
• Drive performance optimization, reliability improvements, and security enhancements for mission-critical trading systems
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal risk governance policies applicable to financial software

Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with 6+ years in a management or senior technical leadership role
• Proven expertise developing specialty software for FICC markets (fixed income, foreign exchange, or commodities trading)
• Strong foundation in distributed systems, high-performance computing, and enterprise software architecture
• Track record leading and scaling engineering teams in competitive, fast-moving financial technology environments
• Experience mentoring senior engineers and building high-caliber technical organizations
• Working knowledge of fixed income instruments, currency markets, and commodities trading mechanics
• Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to influence across business and technology stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional expertise
