About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing fintech organization seeking a Technical Recruiter for a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Cardiff. Our client is looking for someone who can deliver exceptional technical talent while building inclusive hiring processes.

This role can be based in Cardiff with flexible remote working arrangements across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruitment for technical roles across engineering and design functions
• Build strong talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, referrals, and inbound applications
• Partner with hiring managers to structure effective assessment processes and identify key skills
• Balance speed with quality to deliver exceptional candidates while maintaining a brilliant candidate experience
• Use market knowledge and influencing skills to attract top talent
• Drive continuous improvement of hiring processes using data and insights
• Champion diversity and inclusion throughout the recruitment lifecycle
• Ensure every candidate has a positive experience regardless of outcome
• Move efficiently from offer to acceptance, maintaining candidate excitement throughout

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience recruiting for fast-paced, product-focused technology companies
• In-house recruitment experience at a startup or scale-up environment
• Track record recruiting for engineering OR design roles
• Strong sourcing skills with a resourceful, creative approach to finding talent
• Ability to assess technical skills beyond job titles and formal qualifications
• Deep commitment to inclusive and diverse hiring practices
• Empathetic and adaptable communication style that respects candidates' needs
• Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders across the organization
• Curiosity about new technologies and technical trends
• Data-driven mindset for process improvement

Pay
