Privacy Senior Manager

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Privacy Senior Manager to join their London team. In this role, you will strengthen and scale the programmatic and day-to-day activities of a global privacy program, driving initiatives and elevating operational standards across multiple jurisdictions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing daily global privacy operations, including processing data subject requests, improving processes, updating inventory and data mapping, and leading privacy impact assessments
• Supporting the continued development and operationalization of the global privacy program, including updating policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
• Monitoring relevant global privacy legislation and leading implementation of new requirements
• Developing and conducting privacy training to drive organizational adoption
• Maintaining program metrics to proactively identify risks and trends
• Supporting and maintaining privacy tools and technologies
• Preparing reports, presentations, and program materials for employees, subsidiaries, and senior leadership
• Providing operational support to the regulatory compliance team on licensing, operational resilience, outsourcing, and related matters

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
• 6-8+ years of privacy program management experience; financial technology or crypto industry experience strongly preferred
• Experience drafting and reviewing privacy-related contract terms
• Experience supporting global privacy initiatives, including knowledge of US state privacy laws, EU GDPR, UK data protection regulations, and other international privacy regimes
• Strong analytical, organizational, and program management skills with attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor content to specific audiences and translate complex requirements into actionable steps
• Commercially-minded team player who embraces uncertainty and excels at solving complex privacy issues within financial services
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision in a team environment
• Privacy certification required
