Business Development Representative

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI infrastructure company in their search for a Business Development Representative to join their London team. Our client is a well-funded technology organization working at the forefront of enterprise AI solutions, and they're building a dynamic sales team to support their rapid growth.

As a BDR, you'll be instrumental in generating pipeline for the Account Executive team by qualifying inbound leads and conducting strategic outreach to high-value prospects. This is an excellent opportunity to enter the AI space and engage in technical, meaningful conversations with sophisticated customers who are actively exploring generative AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Strategically prospect into key accounts using email, calling, and LinkedIn outreach
• Consistently meet new business opportunity and pipeline generation targets
• Craft personalized, tailored outreach through research-driven account prioritization
• Qualify and engage inbound leads, ensuring smooth handoff to Account Executives
• Educate prospects on AI infrastructure solutions and their business impact
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging and outreach strategies based on market feedback
• Stay current on AI and machine learning trends to conduct informed conversations with technical and business stakeholders

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 1-2+ years of experience as a BDR or SDR
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated interest in technology sales with strong curiosity about AI and machine learning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with technical stakeholders
• Self-motivated and organized with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

• Previous startup or entrepreneurial experience with a proactive, adaptable mindset
• Prior customer-facing experience in SaaS, AI, or emerging technology
• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales engagement tools (Salesforce, Outreach, Apollo, etc.)
• Degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field
• Active participation in AI or tech communities with commitment to continuous learning

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: £70,000 - £100,000 base salary with OTE (On-Target Earnings) of £70,000 - £100,000. Equity is also offered as part of the compensation package.
