Technical Product Manager (d/f/m) – People Intelligence Apps

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization in Berlin that is building an AI-native internal operations platform. Our talent team is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead the development of people intelligence applications that power workforce planning, performance management, and organizational design through agentic workflows and human-AI collaboration.

This role sits within the People Strategy & Insights function and reports to the Director level. You'll be instrumental in translating complex organizational challenges into scalable product solutions, working at the intersection of AI tooling, no-code platforms, and people operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of the "Builder" concept across engineering and non-engineering teams, mapping organizational requirements to unlock agentic workflow capabilities
• Design and implement AI-augmented tools and human-AI collaboration patterns, experimenting with emerging techniques to advance people operations
• Build and continuously improve people applications using no-code and low-code platforms including Claude Code, Notion, n8n, Google Cloud Apps, and related AI tools—owning the complete product lifecycle
• Lead adoption of product mindset and methodologies across the People function, including development and refinement of the People Products Roadmap
• Translate stakeholder needs into a prioritized applications roadmap, balancing operational demands with strategic initiatives through a clear build-vs-buy framework
• Build and maintain integrations across the People tech stack (HiBob, Ashby, Peakon, Postgres), ensuring seamless data flows, integrity, and automation via n8n
• Lead change management for new applications, creating documentation, training materials, and enablement sessions while gathering feedback for rapid iteration
• Partner with People Strategy & Insights leadership, People Partners, Workforce Planners, and FP&A while collaborating with IT and Engineering to meet security and privacy standards

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in technical product management or closely related role with proven track record building and shipping internal tools end-to-end
• Hands-on experience building with AI tools such as Claude, GPT, or Google AI Studio with intuitive understanding of effective human-AI collaboration patterns
• Curious PM mindset unafraid to challenge the status quo in pragmatic and constructive ways
• Systems thinking ability with understanding of the economic aspects of internal processes and products and how they create value
• Technical fluency working with APIs, webhooks, SQL, and cross-system data flows; understanding of when to engage Engineering versus self-build
• Product mindset including roadmap management, ruthless prioritization, and delivering incremental value in fast-paced environments while maintaining user-centric focus
• High proficiency with no-code and low-code platforms (Notion, n8n, AppSheet, Google Cloud Apps or similar) and comfortable designing data models supporting complex business logic and reporting
• Experience in People/HR tech, workforce planning, or organizational design is a strong plus
• Background in high-growth startup or scale-up environments where ambiguity is standard
