Key Account Manager (f/m/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech client in Berlin that is scaling rapidly in the financial infrastructure space. They need an experienced Key Account Manager to join their Customer Success team and help drive retention, expansion, and long-term client relationships. This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the Head of Customer Success, with significant ownership over how enterprise clients experience the platform.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary strategic contact for enterprise clients, ensuring exceptional experiences across all touchpoints
• Manage the complete post-sales lifecycle including onboarding, adoption, growth, and upsell opportunities
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Product, Sales, Legal, and Finance teams to deliver seamless customer outcomes
• Build deep, consultative relationships with clients and translate their needs into actionable product and operational insights
• Own key customer metrics including NPS, retention rates, net revenue retention, and escalation management
• Partner with the Head of Customer Success to refine and scale the customer success framework as the company grows

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of professional experience with 1–3 years in enterprise Account Management or Customer Success roles
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-value customer relationships and engage confidently with C-level stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences
• Proven track record of thriving in fast-moving, high-growth environments with shifting priorities
• Fluency in both English and German (required)
• Experience in fintech, SaaS, or financial services is a plus

Location & Work Arrangement

This position is based in Berlin with a hybrid model requiring three days per week in the office. The client also offers flexibility for up to four weeks of remote work per calendar year.
