Technical Product Manager – AI Investing

About the Role

We are representing a confidential fintech organization building next-generation financial products across Southeast Asia. Our client is seeking a Technical Product Manager - AI Investing to own a critical product vertical end-to-end, from strategy and technical design through delivery and launch.

This role manages products that move real money. Reliability, regulatory compliance, and third-party financial infrastructure are fundamental requirements, not afterthoughts. You'll be working in an AI-native environment where intelligent automation must be balanced with deterministic systems, auditability, and user trust.

The position is remote and open to candidates in the Philippines, working within a distributed international team.

Responsibilities

• Own a product vertical end-to-end, including strategy, metrics, roadmap, priorities, and delivery
• Shape technical design with engineering teams across APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability
• Drive trade-offs among correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory requirements, and user experience
• Build regulatory requirements into product design, including KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing
• Apply AI where it genuinely improves outcomes, with clear evaluation frameworks, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling
• Ship products around external dependencies, including regulatory approvals, financial rails, and third-party partnerships
• Align Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance around product decisions and launch requirements

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex technical products from strategy through production
• Strong technical foundation across system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems
• Experience working closely with engineers, with ability to review, challenge, and contribute to technical designs
• Experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or another regulated, high-consequence product domain
• Strong product judgment and ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical, regulatory, and operational constraints
• Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including evaluation, reliability, and understanding when AI should not be used
• Strong English communication skills for effective collaboration across distributed teams

Nice to Have:

• Engineering or highly technical product background
• Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
• Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products
