Technical Product Lead – AI Stockbroking App

About This Role

We are representing a confidential fintech organization building AI-powered financial services across Southeast Asia and globally. They are seeking a Technical Product Lead to own a product vertical end-to-end in their platform, which spans payments, wealth management, trading, and insurance.

This is a remote position based in the United States, working with a globally distributed team across multiple time zones. You'll be joining a fast-moving organization that combines AI innovation with the rigorous requirements of regulated financial products.

Responsibilities

• Own a complete product vertical including strategy, metrics, roadmap, priorities, and delivery from concept through production launch
• Shape technical architecture and design with engineering teams across APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability
• Drive complex trade-offs balancing correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory requirements, and user experience
• Integrate regulatory requirements into product design including KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing compliance
• Apply AI and LLMs strategically where they improve outcomes, with clear evaluation frameworks, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling
• Navigate product delivery around external dependencies including regulatory approvals, financial infrastructure, and third-party partner integrations
• Align cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance around product decisions and launch requirements

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of product management experience with ownership of complex technical products from strategy through production
• Strong technical foundation across system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems
• Experience working closely with engineering teams and ability to review, challenge, and contribute to technical designs
• Background in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or another regulated, high-consequence product domain
• Demonstrated product judgment and ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical, regulatory, and operational constraints
• Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including evaluation, reliability design, and understanding when AI should not be used
• Strong English communication skills for working with global teams

Preferred qualifications:

• Engineering background or highly technical product experience
• Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer financial products
• Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products
