Pixelogic Media Partners, LLC seeks an experienced Technical Operations Manager specializing in audio, video, and digital media to join our team in Seoul, South Korea on a full-time basis. In this hands-on role, you'll oversee the technical infrastructure and operational workflows that power our media production and distribution ecosystem.
What This Role Involves
As Technical Operations Manager for our audio/video and digital media operations based in Seoul, you'll bridge technical teams and business objectives by managing broadcast systems, media asset workflows, and production infrastructure. You'll ensure uptime, reliability, and optimization across our digitized media environment while mentoring technical staff and driving continuous improvement in how we capture, process, and deliver content.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of audio and video technical systems, including encoding pipelines, streaming platforms, and broadcast distribution infrastructure
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement solutions to minimize production downtime
- Manage digital media asset libraries, metadata workflows, and version control procedures
- Lead technical team members and coordinate with production, engineering, and content teams to meet operational SLAs
- Maintain and upgrade hardware, software, and network infrastructure supporting media production
- Document processes, create operational runbooks, and establish best practices for Seoul office technical workflows
- Evaluate new tools and technologies to improve efficiency and quality in audio/video operations
Requirements
- 5+ years managing technical operations, broadcast systems, or media infrastructure environments
- Hands-on experience with video encoding, streaming platforms, and digital media workflows
- Strong knowledge of audio/video codecs, formats, and playback technologies
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams, prioritize complex projects, and communicate across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix or Windows server environments and network troubleshooting
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for media delivery is a plus
- Fluent English; Korean language skills are advantageous
