About the Role

As a Tax Experienced Senior, Core Tax Services at BDO USA in Nashville, you will play a central part in delivering accurate, compliant tax solutions. Working hands-on with tax software and engagement teams, you'll translate foundational tax knowledge into practical results, helping clients navigate filing requirements while spotting issues and opportunities along the way.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct tax research and apply core tax principles to identify and evaluate potential issues affecting clients.
• Collect and organize the client information needed to support accurate and timely tax filings.
• Contribute to tax planning efforts and help shape strategies that serve client objectives.
• Identify potential risks and clearly communicate them to engagement leaders and clients.
• Prepare tax accrual workpapers and supporting documentation.
• Use tax software applications to complete returns and related compliance deliverables.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in tax preparation, compliance, or a related Core Tax Services function.
• Solid grounding in foundational tax concepts and the ability to research and interpret tax matters.
• Comfort working with professional tax software and preparing accrual workpapers.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to collaborate within engagement teams and manage responsibilities across multiple clients.
