About the Role

As an Assurance Manager in Accounting & Reporting Advisory, you will serve as a trusted technical resource for both public and private companies navigating complex accounting and financial reporting challenges. Based in Boston, you will translate emerging accounting standards into practical, defensible solutions and help organizations apply those standards with confidence and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze sophisticated accounting and financial reporting questions and advise clients on the correct treatment under applicable standards.
• Support companies through the adoption and implementation of new accounting pronouncements.
• Guide both publicly traded and privately held organizations on a range of accounting and reporting matters.
• Prepare clear technical documentation and position papers that withstand review and scrutiny.
• Collaborate with engagement teams and client stakeholders to deliver timely, high-quality advisory work.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying U.S. accounting and financial reporting standards.
• Strong working knowledge of reporting requirements for both public and private companies.
• Proven ability to research technical accounting issues and communicate conclusions to varied audiences.
• Experience leading the implementation of newly issued accounting standards.
• Effective project management skills and the ability to manage multiple client engagements concurrently.
