We are representing a confidential tax advisory firm in Rostock seeking a Tax Specialist/Payroll Accountant (m/w/d). Our client is an established practice with a strong regional presence, committed to delivering comprehensive tax compliance, advisory, and implementation services to their diverse client base. Responsibilities

• Prepare annual financial statements and income-surplus calculations for clients
• Complete personal and business tax returns with accuracy and attention to regulatory requirements
• Provide ongoing advisory support to clients on tax and accounting matters
• Manage correspondence with clients and tax authorities
• Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to digital transformation projects within the practice
• Maintain direct client relationships and participate in client consultations

What We're Looking For

• Completed vocational training as a tax specialist (Steuerfachangestellter), tax consultant (Steuerfachwirt), or certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter), OR
• Successfully completed degree in law or economics with a focus on taxation
• Professional experience in preparing financial statements is desirable
• Team-oriented mindset combined with initiative and sense of responsibility
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Enthusiasm for digitalization and willingness to embrace change
• German language proficiency required for client communication and regulatory compliance
