Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential renewable energy organization seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to support their EMEA sales operations. In this role, you will:
- Partner with regional sales teams to translate customer requirements into optimized technical proposals for energy storage solutions
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor, providing product configuration guidance and expertise throughout the sales cycle
- Lead evaluation and selection of installation contractor proposals to support turnkey solution delivery
- Collaborate with sales teams on technical aspects of customer contract negotiations
- Develop sales tools and support materials that enhance business development effectiveness
- Capture customer technical requirements and translate them into insights for future product development
- Support system design development that meets local codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Identify technical deviations and coordinate cross-functional resolution
- Travel throughout the EMEA region to engage with customers, partners, and stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or related technical discipline
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the power industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent communication skills
- Experience with offer management and technical contract review
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce) and engineering tools (CAD)
- Background in energy storage, solar, power generation, or industrial balance of plant (EPC projects preferred)
- Understanding of local standards, codes, and regulatory requirements
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to manage multiple parallel activities effectively
- Demonstrated ownership mentality and drive to close opportunities
- Excellent coordination, collaboration, and communication skills
- Comfortable in fast-paced, collaborative environments with informal structures
- Fluent in written and spoken English
